CLUB

Rugby club “Mitava” was founded in March 2011 as a youth rugby club. Our club has represented the Latvian championship with U11,U13,U15,U17,U20 boys teams and U18 girls teams. Currently the club is lead by director Dmitry Bondarenko, while the clubs head coach is Robert Bondarenko, youth coach Mārtiņš Rauziņš and fitness coach Rita Immere. Rugby club “Mitava” practice base is located in Jelgava city, as well as in sports bases in Līvbērze and Aizupe. The club’s main goal is to introduce children to rugby, to promote healthy lifestyle and rugby culture.
